Mr. Deligny
ByRichard Copans
Fernand Deligny devoted his life to allow the so called “sick or dangerous people” to exist and protect them from spending their lives in closed environments, jails and asylums. His most remarkable achievement started in 1968 when Deligny established a “network” for informally taking care of children with autism. Throughout his life he wrote books and used filmmaking as a means of creating new circumstances and transmitting his experience.
