Ballroom dives us into the queer community of racially diverse suburban Paris metropolitan area, all united around ballroom culture. We follow the daily lives of young adults from the House of Revlon, each with issues that strongly resonate with the societal challenges of the 21st century. They are hybrid modern heroes walking the line between stardom and marginality. The series is built around three main axes: the sports competition culminating in the 2024 Olympics, the succession quest within the House and the personal issues of the characters related to gender, religion, family, and love.
